From the Tennessee Woods to Your Everyday Carry
Hi, I’m Noah — the maker behind Wolf Creek Leather.
I grew up in a family of crafters deep in the woods of southern middle Tennessee. My upbringing was equal parts workshop and woods. If I wasn’t in the shop helping my family, I was usually roaming free through the trees (barefoot whenever I could get away with it).
It was a childhood that blended hard work and high standards with a healthy dose of freedom and adventure. That unique mix still shapes everything I do today
The name Wolf Creek comes from a small community near where I grew up. It holds a special place in my memory — especially the old country store established in the 1920s by a man who shared my first name, Noah Duke. That connection to place, history, and tradition felt like the perfect name for this journey.
Every piece at Wolf Creek Leather is handcrafted right here in Cross Plains, Tennessee. I source my leather from Wickett & Craig, a world-class vegetable tannery located in Curwensville, Pennsylvania. Founded in 1867, they still use a traditional, labor-intensive, and eco-friendly veg-tanning process with American cow hides. This produces some of the strongest, most beautiful full-grain leather available — leather known for its depth of color and rich patina that gets better with age. As they say: “Simply put, our leathers not only endure, but get better with age.”
My goal is simple: to make gear that actually works and is truly useful. I personally use everything I make and get real-world feedback from others who carry it daily. I take that experience and constantly improve my designs. I don’t just make things that might sell well — I make things I’m proud to carry every single day.
I stand behind everything I make. If your gear fails due to normal use I will repair, refurbish or replace your item at my discretion.
Thanks for being here. I’m truly grateful to craft these pieces for you.
